ADVANCED TRACKING SOLUTIONS
FOR PORTS MANAGEMENT SECTOR
PORTS MANAGEMENT
FUEL CONSUMPTION MONITORING AND GPS LOCATION TRACKING OF SEA OR RIVER VESSEL (ships, boats, dredges)
Fuel consumption monitoring and GPS location tracking of sea or river vessels (ships, boats, dredges) allows shipowners and ship operators to reduce operation costs by minimizing idling time of fleet, preventing fuel theft and improving crew discipline.
Technoton’s telematics system for sea and river watercrafts is based on accurate tools for fuel consumption measurement – DFM and DFM Marine fuel flow meters that are mounted in fuel line of main engine, auxiliary engines, diesel generators and boilers/heaters. It can also include DUT-E fuel level sensors, which are installed in fuel tanks, and MasterCAN DAC i/o modules for gathering signals from standard analog sensors of a ship/boat. Vessel telematics system provide precise information on vessel’s position, real fuel consumption, engine operation hours in different work modes (idle, optimal, overload), possible fuel draining from tank and other necessary operation parameters. Information is gathered and analyzed by CANUp telematics gateway and sent to the web-based ORF4 telematics service, where it can be displayed on virtual dashboard and as tables and charts.
PORTS & HARBOURS SOLUTIONS FOR THE PORTS AUTHORITY
Vissim Port Management is a cloud-based software tool which helps port operators to plan ship visits, port resources and report resource usage efficiently to a billing system or the country's national single window. The module provides effective and streamlined functionality for the planning and controlling of ship visits including incidents recording, port services, and facilities used, berth planning and all related accounting. The reporting tool includes convenient templates for ships location and movements, port facilities, cargo landing, etc. The templates can be expanded or modified to suit individual requirements.
Vissim Port Management Module can be integrated with the Vissim Vessel Traffic Management Application, establishing complete safe port operations and surveillance of all traffic within the coverage area while, in parallel, ensuring the efficiency of port operations.
VESSEL TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
Vissim Vessel Traffic Management Application integrates data from sensors such as radar, AIS, CCTV and drone, VHF, Metocean sensors and satellite data, and provides real-time detection, tracking, and monitoring of sea traffic and vessels’ information to produce situational awareness.
The Application is proven incredibly reliable and robust and is currently in operation on several hundred small, medium scale and large VTMS systems worldwide. It is built up around large system architecture, supporting a hierarchy of control rooms and multiple sensor sites. It runs over WAN/LAN, can be hosted on premises, in the cloud or on client IT infrastructure. Vissim Vessel Traffic Management Application includes a large library of interfaces for a wide range of hardware manufacturers and models.
VISIBILITY OF CONTAINER TERMINAL OPERATIONS
The Container Terminal Automation System (CTAS)offers a range of modules, focusing on automating the operational processes in your container terminal.
Our solutions are designed specifically for the harsh container terminal environment and provide you with direct control of your operations. They fully integrate into your existing IT and hardware landscape, extending your overall return and lifespan on investment, bridging the logical gaps in your operations.
FLEET AND CONTAINERS MANAGEMENT FOR PORTS, AND CUSTOMS AUTHORITIES
Our Helios Advanced for fleet management is built-in with weight sensors incorporated in your fleet (truck, crane, tow, etc ) for real-time reading and record of the weight of each container.
Our mobile web application can post the total weight and the numbers of containers loaded or downloaded in each vessel automatically in real-time, saving time and give you transparency at port operations. This solution is ideal for Port Management Authorities and Customs Authorities.
Ports Authorities, Operators, and Customs Authorities can monitor in real-time:
-
Record of the weight of each Container,
-
Total weight for cargo in the Vessel,
-
Total numbers of containers loaded in the vessel.
Ports and Customs Authorities also can monitor in real-time the position of each container with our container tracking devices, through plug & play devices, completely autonomous, and reusable after the container has left the port zone.
-
Total numbers of containers at the port.
-
Total numbers of containers at the port by zones.
